Physician Bio: Dr. Michael Green, Ophthalmology, has practiced in Sumner County since 1994. He is a general ophthalmologist offering treatment and surgery for cataracts, retina issues including macular degeneration management, LASIK, and oculoplastics.
Dr. Michael E. Green graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology and served as past president of the Gallatin Lions Club, where he worked to benefit the Vanderbilt Children’s Eye Center.
